Colts released S Winston Guy.
Winston Guy was providing depth for the Colts secondary as Clayton Geathers worked his way back. Now that Geathers is 100%, Guy became expendable, although it doesn't mean the Colts defense has gotten much better. They're still a defense to fade in DFS on a weekly basis.
Colts signed free-agent S Winston Guy to the practice squad.
Just beefing up the secondary depth here. Can\'t be too careful.
Jaguars have released S Winston Guy.
Winston Guy is considered the leading candidate for the starting free safety job but will have to compete with Josh Evans for the job during training camp.
Guy played in a part-time role for Jacksonville last season and recorded 29 tackles over 14 games. If he does in fact become the starter at free safety, his overall numbers should improve.
