James Ihedigbo
Player News
Bills place James Ihedigbo on injured reserve.
Ihedigbo was injured during Sunday's game with the ankle ailment, but with just three games left in the regular season, there wasn't going to be enough time for him to rejoin the team. He only played in four games for Buffalo, weeks 11-14, and had one more tackle in each game than the previous one. Now 33, and unable to stick anywhere for more than a few seasons, he is probably looking at end to his career simply by way of not being re-signed or picked up elsewhere.
James Ihedigbo suffered an ankle injury in Week 14.
Ihedigbo was just signed by the Bills in the recent weeks and his season may already be over. The severity of the injury is unknown, but we should find out in the upcoming days.
James Ihedigbo is not practicing Wednesday.
James Ihedigbo is missing practice with an ankle injury. The Bills signed Ihedigbo several weeks ago, and was in the starting lineup five days later. Rex Ryan has stated how impressed he has been with Ihedigbo's play. The status of his ankle injury should be monitored since the Bill's aren't very deep at strong safety, but his injury doesn't seem to be too major.
Bills signed James Ihedigbo on Tuesday.
The signing is the other part of the transaction involving the release of Duke Williams. Ihedigo was most recently with the Lions this season but has been well-traveled during his NFL career. He will give the Bills, what they hope to be, a better option in the back of the secondary than Williams was. That remains to be seen.
