Johnson played in 10 games for the Saints this past season, rushing for one touchdown and catching 5-of-8 targets in the passing game. The 26 year old is used mostly for blocking.

With the loss of the Mark Ingram, the Saints will bring up Johnson to provide some backfield depth. This will probably also allow the Saints to keep Marcus Murphy on special teams. He should see some work blocking for Tim Hightower.
