Jordan Palmer

With Zach Mettenberger out and Jake Locker now banged up, the Titans need someone to back up Charlie Whitehurst. Palmer has no fantasy value though even if he does play. He obviously cannot be trusted with the fantasy playoffs on the line.

Well that was fast. The thought was that the Bills would use Palmer as their third-string guy after cutting Thaddeus Lewis, but apparently that wasn\'t the case. With two releases in less than a week, it would be surprising to see another team try him out.

The Bills weren\'t happy with their back-up quarterback situation, so when the Bears let Palmer go, the Bills quickly jumped on the opportunity. They signed Palmer who will not compete with Jeff Tuel for the back-up job and released Thad Lewis.

Palmer was fighting for backup duties with the Bears, but wasn\'t able to secure a roster spot.
