Cutler is slated to return to practice Wednesday -- presumably in a full capacity -- and will reclaim his spot atop the depth chart after Matt Moore (23-for-34 for 215 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions) did little to stop the Dolphins' skid in Sunday's loss to the Patriots. With Kenyan Drake currently the only healthy running back on the roster, the Dolphins could lean on a pass-heavy attack against a Broncos defense that will be missing one of its starting cornerbacks with Aqib Talib suspended. Even so, with an average of 178 passing yards per game to go with 13 touchdowns and nine interceptions over nine contests this season, Cutler offers his most utility in fantasy leagues that start two quarterbacks rather than shallower one-quarterback formats.

Cutler who completed 6-of-12 passes for 83 yards, with a TD and three picks prior to his exit, was replaced in the contest by Matt Moore. Cutler will now look to gain medical clearance as next Sunday's game against the Patriots approaches.

Cutler was diagnosed with multiple cracked ribs due to a third-quarter hit Sunday against the Jets, and will give way to Matt Moore in Week 8 as a result. Barring an incredible road performance by Moore, it sounds as if Cutler will be under center when the the team returns home. Nonetheless, prospective fantasy owners will want to monitor Cutler's practice participation throughout the week.

Per the report, the injury could sideline Cutler two to three weeks, though such a potential outcome is pending the results of further medical evaluations. At this stage though, it looks like Matt Moore is probably going to start at QB for Miami in Thursday night's game against the Ravens.
