Dolphins signed QB Mike Glennon to the team's practice squad.

Miami's season is officially circling the drain with this move. Glennon, one of the worst quarterbacks of the modern era, could see playing time in Week 18 against the Jets if Skylar Thompson gets dinged up. Teddy Bridgewater (finger) likely won't play and Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is out. This is not what Mike McDaniel had in mind when the Dolphins were the league's hottest team 60 days ago.

Giants declared QB Mike Glennon, WR Kadarius Toney and WR John Ross inactive for Week 18 against Washington.

Due to roster mismanagement from this hapless organization, New York has only 51 players on its active roster, hence the short inactives list. Without hyperbole, it can be stated that 32-year-old Glennon was the worst quarterback in the league this season. Put in position to fail, he did just that with a laughable 4:10 TD:INT total and 4.7 YPA on 167 attempts. Glennon can't help that the G-Men gave him so much run, but it was truly inexcusable from a team that heads into the offseason as a laughingstock. Teams need to think bigger than letting impending free agent Glennon compete for No. 2 work in 2022.

Giants coach Joe Judge said Mike Glennon injured his hand in Week 17 and will undergo surgery.

This rules out Glennon for Week 18 and maybe that's for the best. Glennon's first two drives of Week 17 ended in turnovers and the Giants' offense gave up on passing entirely after that. He ended the day with 24 passing yards. Jake Fromm will get his second start of the year versus Washington in the coming week. We'd say he can't be worse than Glennon but Fromm threw for 25 yards and an interception in his previous start.

Mike Glennon completed 4-of-11 passes for 24 yards and two interceptions in the Giants' Week 17 loss to the Bears.

Glennon got strip-sacked on his first dropback. On the Giants’ second offensive drive, the veteran quarterback tried to squeeze it into Kenny Golladay on a third-and-long, but the ball got deflected and intercepted. At this point, Giants coach Joe Judge gave up on the game and Glennon threw one pass in the entire rest of the half despite the fact that New York was trailing by multiple possessions. The Giants continued to establish it in the second half and Glennon looked like a complete disaster on the rare occasion that they did try to throw. New York’s passing game is in utter disarray right now, and it’s impossible to trust anyone in this offense outside of perhaps Saquon Barkley right now.
