Matt Flynn

With Luke McCown having season-ending back surgery, the Saints brought in veteran journeyman Matt Flynn to serve as the back-up for Drew Brees. He has no fantasy value whatsoever unless Brees goes down with a major injury.

The one game wonder is now going to try and catch on with the Cowboys after Romo broke his clavicle Sunday. Flynn had a massive game a few seasons ago replacing Aaron Rodgers against the Bears but since then he has fluttered around and lost starting roles to Russell Wilson, as a rookie, and in Oakland due to arm fatigue. Brandon Weeden should be the starter for the next couple of weeks as the potential new QB's learn the system.

Just look at that crop of Quarterbacks that the Cowboys have brought in on Tuesday. That is a pretty terrible group and it has to hurt even more that Kyle Orton said nah, I'd rather stay retired. We will see which one of these back ups can impress the most.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is working as the team's No. 1 quarterback while Geno Smith remains sidelined with a broken jaw. But Smith isn;t expected to miss as much time as originally believed and the team thinks that either Bryce Petty or Josh Johnson can be a capable No. 3. Flynn will likely try and take his service elsewhere.
