Dysert will provide depth at the position on the active roster, but has no fantasy value, even if he does somehow ascend to the starting role.

This move points to Carson Palmer being ready to go this weekend against the Jets. While Palmer has not been good, the Jets are allowing 302 ypg in the air, so Palmer could get it going this week.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians initially seemed very optimistic about the return of Carson Palmer after his injury this past weekend. However on Tuesday, the Cardinals elevated practice squad QB Zac Dysert to the active roster essentially casting doubt on Palmers' ability to play in Thursdays matchup.

Dysert is a 7th round draft pick from 2013 that has bounced around the league ever since he entered a few years ago. He's never been able to make it on the field since entering the league and it's unlikely he'll get any opportunities as a backup heading into 2016.
