Amini Silatolu
Player News
Bears have signed Amini Silatolu to a one-year deal.
Silatolu was a second round pick in 2012 but has struggled with injuries. He has played in more than nine games only once in his four seasons, so health has been an issue. That said, the Bears won't be counting on him to start at guard, but he could stick on the team as a depth piece.
Free-agent G Amini Silatolu recently visited the Chiefs.
The former Panther has dealt with injuries, but is still very talented and could be a solid signing for a club this late in the offseason.
Amini Silatolu visited the 49ers Tuesday.
Silatolu has already visited the Cardinals and the Seahawks, and at this point it looks like he will wind up somewhere in the NFC West. While he will add offensive line depth, his signing likely won't be enough to swing the NFC West race.
Amini Silatolu is visiting the Cardinals on Monday.
Like every other free agent, Silatolu is just making his rounds. Tough to say where he would be a good fit for right now, but he's proven to be a capable lineman so look for a number of teams to invite him in for a look.
