Redskins signed DL Cullen Jenkins.
The 35-year-old will come back to the team after being cut in the preseason. He isn't going to be a force on the line, so he's not worth adding in any IDP formats.
Redskins plan to re-sign DL Cullen Jenkins Tuesday.
This comes as no surprise after the display the Redskins defensive line put up on Monday Night Football against the Steelers. They were torched by DeAngelo Williams and Pittsburgh's offensive line. The Skins had Jenkins on the roster for the fourth preseason game but was one of the final cuts made before the season. They are hoping he will cause disruption on the line as the Redskins face Ezekiel Elliott and the terrific Cowboys offensive line on Sunday.
Cullen Jenkins has been cut by the Redskins on Saturday.
After being signed by the Redskins on Aug. 29th, the Redskins saw enough and cut him. He very well could find another team this season, mainly serving as depth. Jenkins is 35 years-old now and the end is very near for Jenkins.
Cullen Jenkins signed a one-year deal with Washington on Monday.
The 35-year-old worked out for the Redskins on Monday and has agreed to a one-year deal with the team. Jenkins has played the last five seasons within the NFC East, so he should be quite familiar with his new team, and also his opponents. He's a shell of what he once was, but can still dial up a solid pass rush from time to time.
