Player News
Vikings have activated DT Kenrick Ellis from the PUP list.
Ellis, whose original injury that landed him on the PUP list earlier this weekend wasn't disclosed, has been activated and can now return to the Vikings as their training camp gets going. The 28-year-old played in nine games for Minnesota last year and recorded just three tackles all season. He was originally drafted in the third round back in 2011 by the Jets and spent four seasons in New York prior to coming to the Vikings back in 2015.
Kenrick Ellis (knee) was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
He is on the active/PUP list with an undisclosed injury. It is not expected to be too serious an issue, but without more details, that is just speculation. He should rejoin the team on the field in camp soon, unless there is something more drastic going on here.
Vikings announce they've officially re-signed DT Kenrick Ellis.
Ellis was limited to just nine games last season for the Vikings due to injury and though he has never been a full time starter during his NFL tenure they like what they see and will be bringing him back to add depth.
Vikings agreed to a one-year deal with nose tackle Kenrick Ellis.
In a move to shore up the Vikings defensive line depth, they agreed to a one-year deal with Kenrick Ellis. Ellis appeared in nine games for Minnesota last year but is projected to backup Linval Joseph and Sharrif Floyd.
