Stephen Paea

Paea was cut by the Redskins on Tuesday but was not out of work for very long. Cleveland has been battling significant injuries on the defensive line and were in need of a veteran presence in the middle. Paea figures to mix in the rotation for rushing downs.

Paea just inked a lucrative 4-year, $21 million deal last offseason, however has yet to break through the Redskins second, let alone first defensive unit. Considering his high price tag and limited skillset, Paea became an expendable piece.

The 28-year-old's season is now officially over with this move as a sprained toe has done him in. While he only logged 19 total tackles in 11 games played, he was a value part of the Washington rush defense in 2015 and will now look to get back to form coming out of training camp next season.
