Ray McDonald

McDonald was recently released by the Chicago Bears following his arrest for domestic violence in Northern California. With all the accusations and allegations, it would be extremely surprising to see him play a down in the NFL this season. It would be surprising to see a team take a chance on him, seeing what he did to the Bears when they gave him a chance.

As reported earlier Ray McDonald was arrested on Domestic Violance charges again, the third time in 9 months. The Bears wasted no time cutting ties with the newly acquired defensive end. One teammate of McDonald's on the Bears was happy with the release tweeting out "Good Riddance" @Ky1eLong.

Ray McDonald has now been accused of violence against women three times in the last nine months. We do not know all of the details but there are also reports of child endangerment as well. This is the third time McDonald has been accused of violence against women in the last nine months. If you remember McDonald had previously escaped discipline from both the police and the NFL on the first two incidents, one of which was an alleged rape that occurred during a party and another alleged domestic incident of a pregnant woman. The former 49ers defensive end signed a one-year contract with the Bears for $1.05 million.

Apparently there was not sufficient evidence to charge McDonald for the Domestic Violence charge that's been lingering over him since last season. The other charge is a sexual assault charge, which is still being investigated. It's unclear whether or not McDonald will actually miss any time during the upcoming season.
