Domata Peko
Player News
Free agent DT Domata Peko has “turned down several offers” from teams.
Peko is “waiting for the right fit” and wants to play for a contender. He’s been linked to the Bengals, but that now looks unlikely. 35-year-old Peko should eventually settle on a team.
Peko notched 14 tackles (seven solo) in seven regular-season contests in 2019.
Peko signed with Baltimore as a free agent midway through the 2019 regular season, and he played a rotational role at nose tackle to close out the year. The 35-year-old veteran is set to once again become an unrestricted free agent come March.
Peko (knee) is active for Sunday's contest against the 49ers.
Peko practiced without limitations Friday, and it looks as though he's fully recovered from his knee issue. The veteran nose tackle's availability will be a boost to Baltimore's depth.
Peko (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Peko fully participated in practice Friday. He has played around 20 snaps in the two games he's been active since signing with Baltimore and would likely be in line for a similar role if he's able to play Sunday.
