Jarvis Jenkins

After being cut by the Jets last week, the 28 year-old defensive end will add depth to the Chiefs line as they're currently without Allen Bailey.

The Patriots are looking for depth and have signed Jarvis Jenkins. Jenkins was waived by the Jets, who already have a solid defensive line.

The former second rounder appears to be able to help a team, but did not factor into the Jets' plans. He figures to find another home soon.

Jarvis Jenkins was a second round pick of the Washington Redskins in the 2011 NFL Draft and would be qualified as a disappointment by most standards. He has only managed six sacks across 59 career games and was rated 53rd out of 57 qualified 3-4 defensive ends by Pro Football Focus. He will provide depth on the Jets already talented defensive front.
