C.J. Mosley

In a move to make room on the active roster, Miami has released DT C.J. Mosley from the injured reserve. Mosley last played in November against the Cowboys. He will now be available in the waivers process.

C.J. Mosley was waived to claim DT Robert Thomas from the Patriots practice squad. Since he was unclaimed, Mosley was reverted back to the injured reserve by the Dolphins, which ends his season.

This is the corresponding move to the signing of Robert Thomas off the Patriots practice squad. Miami is hurting up front, literally Suh is the only healthy DT on the roster, and so this move is to add depth by dropping an already hurting player.

It was reported that he was seen wearing a walking boot around the facility on Monday, which might indicate that he could miss Sunday's game next week. But as instructed, consider him day-to-day for now.
