Karl Klug
Player News
Plug (Achilles) signed a contract with the Titans on Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Titans placed Karl Klug (ankle) on injured reserve.
Klug tore his Achilles tendon during the Titans win over the Chiefs on Sunday, and he's been placed on injured reserve today which will end his season. The former Iowa Hawkeye played in every game for the Titans since 2011 before this injury but he hasn't been very effective this season as he's registered just 1.5 sacks and 13 tackles. With their backup defensive tackle down for the season, it wouldn't be surprising if the Titans went out and signed a free agent to fill the hole at the position.
Karl Klug (ankle) is questionable to return against the Chiefs.
Klug is a backup DT and if he is unable to return it should have little impact on the Titans. Austin Johnson and Mehdi Abdesmad will get the snaps in place of Klug while he is out.
Karl Klug is questionable for Week 15.
Klug hasn't done much this season for the Titans so even if he's ruled out then it wouldn't be a huge blow to the Titans defensive line. Look for Klug to be a game-time decision this week, most depending on if he can practice on Saturday.
