Vince Wilfork

After spending 11 years in a Patriots' uniform, Wilfork may have seen his outstanding NFL career come to an end against his former team Saturday night. The 35-year-old veteran has spent the last two seasons with the Texans, who saw their season come to an end with a loss to the Patriots in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Wilfork has earned five Pro-Bowl selections over his 13 NFL seasons.

The 13-year vet has been playing well this season and says he's not banged up or physically hurting, however he may be mentally done according to what he told reporters. The big fella signed a two-year deal with Houston in 2015 after spending the first 11 seasons of his career with New England, and so he will also be without a contract once the Houston playoff run comes to an end as well. Wilfork did say that he still loves the game and still has stuff left in the tank but may want to move on to other things in his life, which isn't shocking for a man in his mid-30's.

Wilfork was originally listed on the injury report as Questionable with a groin injury, but it appears he'll be ready to go for Houston's game Monday night in Mexico City against Oakland. It's pretty surprising that Wilfork is still playing at this stage given his age and size. The injuries have certainly started taking a toll on him a bit more in recent years, but he'll still be looked upon to help stop the Oakland running game from gaining any momentum.

Wilfork is questionable for the Texans game against the Raiders on Monday night. It would be a loss for the defense if he can not play, but it seems like he will be good to go. Wilfork is not someone worth owning in IDP fantasy leagues.
