Titans OLB Kamerion Wimbley has announced his retirement.
Wimbley retires after a solid 10 year NFL career which saw him rack up 53.5 sacks and 442 tackles. He was drafted in 2006 by the Browns and spent time with the Raiders before playing his final three seasons in Tennessee.
Kamerion Wimbley will be out with a hamstring this week.
There\'s just no way he\'s going to be healthy enough to be an impact player this week which means Quentin Groves will get the start in his place.
Kamerion Wimbley is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Eagles after suffering a hamstring injury.
Wimbley has been one of the better players on the Tennessee front seven, with two sacks and three tackles for loss this season. Veteran Quentin Groves is Wimbley\'s backup.
Kamerion Wimbley (personal) is not practicing on Tuesday.
Wimbly made 11 tackles with three sacks for the Titans last year and is expected to be the teams starting outside linebacker heading into Week 1.
