Patriots have officially activated Rob Ninkovich.
After testing positive for a banned substance the Ninkovich was suspended for 4 games. He served his time and now has been added back to the club.
Not only is DE Rob Ninkovich eligible to return from his four-game suspension, but his triceps injury has healed well enough to where he could play Week 5 against the Browns.
Rob Ninkovich will return to the Patriots roster Week 5 after serving his four-game suspension to start the season.
Ninkovich was suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league's performance-enhancing drugs policy. It worked out quite well for the Patriots because Ninkovich was already slated to miss the first few weeks with a torn triceps muscle. The Patriots traded for Barkevious Mingo to help with the depth at that position until he is able to return which should be this week.

Ninkovich will not be eligible to return until game five when the Patriots visit Cleveland to take on the Browns.
