Encouragingly, he more than doubled his offensive snaps from last season, though Robertson still only took the field for a meager 193. He's seen his playing time and production drop off substantially over the last two seasons, though Robertson will be back in 2020 for the final year of his current deal.

Robertson saw more playing time in Week 14 with injuries piled up on defense, and he turned the increased snaps into a highly-productive afternoon. He contributed the only interception on the day for either team, grabbing a tipped ball in the third quarter. Robertson could be in line for more playing time moving forward after this quality performance.

Robertson is playing the part of a starting linebacker during walkthroughs ahead of Sunday's matchup against San Francisco. The North Texas product's chance to contribute on defense comes with both A.J. Klein (knee) and Kiko Alonso (thigh) inactive.

Robertson will make his 2019 debut in a revenge game against the Rams. His defensive contributions will be limited behind Demario Davis on the depth chart, but expect Robertson to play a role on special teams.
