Eagles and former Lions' LB Stephen Tulloch are now in heavy negotiations.
Tulloch would make sense as a signing for the linebacker-hungry Eagles defense, and the fact that Eagles DC Jim Schwartz was Tulloch's head coach during their time with the Lions lends credence that this deal could get done. Tulloch had 74 tackles last year with two fumble recoveries and a sack in 16 games for the Lions.
The termination of Stephen Tulloch's contract was officially processed on Wednesday,
The news that Tulloch would no longer be a Lion has been out for several months now, however, his official release was timed this way to provide maximum cap relief.
