Sio Moore

Sio Moore is now on his third team in 2016 and will function as a special teamer for the Cardinals and in case of emergency, can still play defense. There isn't much more they can add to the already stacked defensive unit for Arizona, but getting more depth is always a good thing.

After being previously acquired from the Colts, Moore is questionable for Week 6 as he might not make his debut with the Chiefs. Moore was signed primary to help the Chiefs put pressure on the QB while Justin Houston was out, but it seems as if Houston might return sometime around the same time as Moore makes his debut with the team.

Moore was released by the Colts this week and had started all four games for the Colts. Given the state of the Colts defense, if you're not good enough to be on that team, then that's saying something. Moore will not be looked at for anything but depth behind Derrick Johnson and Justin March.

Moore started the year as a starter in the linebacker core for the Colts who have suffered to a 1-3 start this season behind poor defensive play. Moore is still a surprising release however as there isn't much in terms of proven depth behind him. Indianapolis hasn't given an exact reason behind the move yet, however that will be coming in the next day or so when they hold their regular Wednesday press conference. In the meantime, Moore is now free to sign with anyone he chooses.
