Raiders waive LB Miles Burris from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
Burris started 16 games for the Raiders last season and posted 110 tackles. Oakland has appeared to move in a different direction and Burris is now free to sign with whomever he chooses.
Miles Burris reverted to injured reserve for Raiders today after being waived-injured.
Burris was a fourth-round draft pick by the Raiders in 2012, but the overwhelming number of linebackers the team brought in likely forces Burris off the roster. Burris was never a factor in any IDP leagues, but he could make an impact on special teams for a team this year.

Burris was a fourth round pick of the Raiders in 2012 and has started 31 games (including all 16 last year) and finished with 142 tackles. The Raiders loaded up at the linebacker position in this past weekend's draft with Ben Heeney, Neiron Ball, and Max Valles. He became expendable.
Miles Burris was limited at Tuesday's practice due to a hip injury.
Burris will be questionable for the Raiders contest on Thursday and will likely be a game time decision.
