LaMarr Woodley
Player News
Lamar Woodley is ready and waiting for whenver his phone rings with an offer from a team.
Woodley played in ten games last season for the Cardinals, recording a total of ten tackles and one sack. At this point in the 31 year olds career, it seems the end may be near. Injuries have been the culprit for Woodley, as he hasn't played more than 13 games in a season since 2010 with the Steelers. If someone decides to give him a shot, it'll be as a rotational OLB, although there's a decent chance that doesn't even happen.
Lamarr Woodley is still waiting on a team to show interest in him.
Woodley spent last season with the Cardinals but ended his second-straight year on I.R., this time with a torn pec after tearing his bicep in 2014 with the Raiders. He recently bashed his past two defensive coordinators on his podcast, calling Jason Tarver and James Bettcher "two dumb guys." Now 31 and without much production in the past half-decade, Woodley and his days of playing at the NFL level seem to be done.
Cardinals placed OLB LaMarr Woodley (chest) on season ending injured reserve.
Woodley is done for the season after suffering a chest injury last week. It looks like Dwight Freeney will see the most significant increase in snaps moving forward.
The Raiders have released DE LaMarr Woodley.
After racking up 44 Sacks in 57 games from 2008-2011, Woodley hasn't been the same disruptive force. In fact, Woodley has only recorded nine sacks in his last 30 games over the last three years. Last year was, by all measures, the worst of Woodley's career, as he only recorded five tackles and zero sacks in six games during his brief tenure with the Raiders.
