Keith Rivers

Rivers was a former first-round pick that never really panned out. He only registered three sacks during his entire career and battled a rash of injuries.

Rivers only had 16 tackles and wasn't used in many opportunities for the Bills. Rex Ryan will look elsewhere for his new defense.

Rivers missed Week 3 with a groin injury, but his participation in drills Wednesday is promising. Continue to monitor his practice schedule and await additional word from the team. Preston Brown would likely start in his place again if Rivers is out again.

After missing Week 2 with the groin issue, Rivers returned to a limited practice both Wednesday and Thursday. This could just be a day of rest, but his outlook for Sunday doesn\'t look too good. With Randell Johnson also banged up, Larry Dean could be in line for some extra snaps.
