Nate Irving

Irving was released by the Colts earlier this season, and has suffered a wrist injury and an ACL tear over the past couple of seasons. He could provide some depth at inside linebacker, where the Jets are beat up presently. He would provide a stopgap option for the short term.

It's been a rough season for the linebacker who signed with the Colts in March as he was only able to appear in eight games with two starts after working through a knee injury at the beginning of the season. He was filling in for the injured Jerrell Freeman when he injured his wrist. The Colts have called up Amarlo Herrera from the practice squad to fill his spot on the roster.

Irving is back in the game after suffering an injury, but it will be to no avail as the Colts are getting blown out by the Steelers. Good to see Irving back and healthy to try and help the Colts' defense, though.

Irving is battling a knee injury and will miss the game for the Colts on Sunday. The Colts defense has been very ineffective this year and cannot afford many injuries going forward.
