Shea McClellin is being evaluated for a concussion.
It's also being reported that McClellin is fine and this is an erroneous report, but if he has been pulled into the NFL's concussion protocol, we may not see him again this game.
Shea McClellin is currently dealing with a concussion.
The linebacker hasn’t made much of an impact and is now in concussion protocol which puts his status in question for the upcoming week. Fantasy owners can continue to avoid the situation.
Patriots and linebacker Shea McClellin have agreed to a three-year deal.
The Boise State product appeared in 12 or more games each of his four seasons as a member of the Chicago Bears. The Patriots inked the former first rounder to a three year deal to add another body in the middle of their defense. After recording four sacks in 2013, McClellin has just one the past two seasons. He won't be a major factor in IDP leagues in 2016.
Shea McClellin will visit with the Seahawks on Tuesday.
It isn't quite known if the Seahawks would want the former first-rounder to play on the inside or help replace recently departed Bruce Irvin on the outside. He played on the outside when he entered the league, but shifted inside last season and performed a little better. He had 81 total tackles with one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one pass defended. McClellin should come at a nice price and did run a 4.63 at the 2012 combine at 6'3", 260 lbs.
