Tamba Hali
Player News
The Chiefs have decided to leave Hali (undisclosed) on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start the season, Terez A. Paylor of KansasCity.com reports.
Hali has been unable to practice all preseason with an undisclosed issue, so this decision comes as no surprise. He will now be allowed to effectively go through his own training camp during the first six weeks of the regular season before he becomes eligible to return. The veteran outside linebacker is entering his 12th season in the league, and has saw his snap count decrease in the latter portion of last season. Thus, fewer games played this season could ultimately lead to more efficient production.
Tamba Hali (knee) will play against the Steelers.
Hali has been dealing with a lingering knee injury but he is active and will play tonight against the Steelers. The 33-year-old played in all 16 games, making two starts, and registered 3.5 sacks on the season. He hasn't looked nearly as effective as he has in the past but he will be available nonetheless for Kansas City.
Tamba Hali (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday.
This is just a veteran's rest and extra precaution from the coaching staff. Hali is going to be fine for the Chiefs playoff showdown with the Steelers.
Tambi Hali (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.
Hali has yet to make a serious impact this season, having totaled only 3.5 sacks on the season. If he is unable to play it isn't going to have much of an impact for the Chiefs or the Broncos in Week 16.
