Steven Johnson suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
Johnson left with a potentially serious ankle injury. It's unknown right now how bad it is, but expect the Steelers to update his status in the coming days.
The Steelers came to terms on a one-year contract with inside linebacker Steven Johnson.
Johnson appeared in 16 games for the Titans last season, collecting seven tackles and two fumble recoveries. He will provide depth at linebacker for the Steelers next season.
Broncos linebacker Steven Johnson was not tendered and will become a free agent.
Johnson saw action at middle linebacker and on special teams in 2014. The Broncos evidently want to go in a different direction than Johnson, despite being thin at the position. Presumably they are relying on some of their injured players to step up, such as Lamin Barrow and Danny Trevathan.
Steven Johnson led the Broncos with seven tackles (six solo) in their 24-13 loss to the Colts Sunday.
It is hard to believe the Broncos held Indianapolis to just 24 points considering they hit Andrew Luck just four times and did not sack him once. Johnson probably had the best game of any Denver defender, but that is not saying much. As of right now the Denver D/ST does not look ownable for 12-team leagues next season.
