Calvin Pace (abdominal strain) did not practice on Wednesday.
Pace left Week 12 early with the abdominal issue and should be monitored closely this week to see what kind of availability he will have. If he is unable to put in a full practice by Friday, then you should expect Trevor Reilly to get the starting nod against the Giants.
Calvin Pace (groin) will play in Week 1.
Veteran outside line backer Calvin Pace did not play Saturday night but will be ready for Week 1 according to coach Todd Bowles. Pace had five sacks for the Jets last year.
Calvin Pace did not practice Thursday and is day-to-day with a groin injury.
Pace had to leave practice on August 24 with a strained groin and it remains to be seen when the starting linebacker will return to practice, but his status for the regular seasons isn’t in doubt. Pace will be used more as a pass rusher this year after finishing the 2014 season with only five sacks. In 2013, the veteran ended up with 10 sacks and the Jets are hopeful that player returns this season.
