Dolphins have signed Donald Butler.
After spending training camp and pre season with the Cardinals, veteran linebacker Donald Butler was cut by Arizona on September 2nd. The former San Diego standout, participated in a workout for the team with other linebackers like A.J. Hawk, but ultimately wound up being the one offered the contract. He will presumably take the roster spot vacated when Earl Mitchell hits the injured reserve.
Cardinals waived Donald Butler on Friday.
Cardinals signed linebacker Donald Butler.
In his career, Butler has seven sacks and three interceptions, but he's really struggled over the last two years. Arizona is hoping he can revive his career, but he isn't a guy you should be targeting in IDP leagues.
Chargers LB Donald Butler was released Thursday.
Butler played in all 16 games for the Chargers last season and totaled 43 tackles with 0.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Butler has had a solid career so far and given his experience and productivity he should have little issue finding a new team.
