Watson signed a contract with the Seahawks on Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Watson signed with Seattle earlier this season but didn't appear in a game and was let go to make room for WR Josh Gordon, who is now suspended. The 31-year-old hasn't played yet in 2019 and spent the previous two seasons as a special teams contributor with the 49ers.
Watson was waived by the Seahawks on Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Although Watson was just picked up Wednesday, Seattle opted to let him go in order to create a roster spot for wide receiver Josh Gordon. Watson will now look to find a new opportunity.
The Seahawks signed Watson to a contract Wednesday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Watson's spot on the 53-man roster comes following the placement of Tedric Thompson (shoulder) on injured reserve. The veteran appeared in four games with the 49ers last season, during which he logged six tackles (four solo), two sacks and one forced fumble.
Watson (leg) worked out for the Ravens on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPNreports.
Watson was nursing a leg injury when he was released by the Broncos in training camp. His try out with the Ravens indicates his health is back up to par.
