Former Colts linebacker Pat Angerer retired at age 27.
After numerous concussions and microfractire knee surgery last December, Angerer has opted to call it a career and retire. It was only a four-year run for the former second-round pick in 2010, but health takes precedence. We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors.

Angerer has been worked out by multiple teams but his concussion issues this preseason have kept them at a distance. He is a talent but he has to prove to the Lions that has his concussion issues under control. We will see if he gets another chance.
