Koa Misi
Player News
Koa Misi could have to undergo spinal fusion surgery. Dolphins will monitor his neck for up to six months before deciding whether to have the surgery, while the injury itself could be career-ending.
Misi has dealt with injuries throughout the course of his seven-year NFL career, but this is by far the most significant. The 29-year-old linebacker, a second-round draft pick of the Dolphins back in 2010, has spent his entire professional career in Miami to this point.
Dolphins placed Koa Misi on injured reserve.
After missing the last two games because of a neck injury, the Dolphins have finally decided to place him on IR. If the Dolphins elect Misi as their designated player to come off of IR, he would be eligible to return in eight weeks.
Koa Misi (neck) won't play against the Titans in Week 5.
Misi will miss another week with a neck injury. Spencer Passenger filled in for Misi in week 4 against the Bengals and he should do the same in week 5 against the Titans.
Koa Misi is questionable to return in Week 3 with a neck injury.
Paysinger will line up for the Dolphins with Misi now out of the game. Hopefully Misi will recover quickly.
