Bills released LB Quentin Groves,
The 31-year old signed with the Bills in mid-August, so without really dazzling the coaches with his ability, his chances were slim. He may try to pick up with another team, but it seems unlikely he'll find a gig before Week 1.
Bills have agreed to terms with linebacker Quentin Groves.
Groves signed a one-year contract Monday. He will provide depth at outside LB behind Manny Lawson and Randell Johnson.
Quentin Groves suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's game against Redskins and is questionable to return.
The Titans could be in trouble on defense, as they were already without linebacker Akeem Ayers.
Titans are signing DE Quentin Groves.
The 30-year old defensive end/linebacker will provide depth for the Titans defense. He may find his way into a rotation, but he is not recommended for IDP play.
