Branch was released by Miami on March 2 after struggling mightily in 2018, recording just 25 tackles and 1.5 sacks. The 29-year-old could offer Arizona an easy and effective solution to bolster their pass rush.

Branch began the week as a non-participant at practice but was able to progress to limited participation Thursday and Friday. The 29-year-old seems to be trending in the right direction for Sunday's season finale, but the numerous knee injuries dealt with over the course of the season keep his status up in the air for now.
