Bengals have officially announced the re-signing of Wallace Gilberry.
After spending the last four seasons with the Bengals, Gilberry moved on to Detroit in the offseason and suited for the Lions in each of the first four weeks of this season before being released. The veteran defensive lineman will now return to Cincinnati to provide depth up front for the Bengals once again.

Gilberry signed with the Lions this offseason after playing four years with the Bengals. He was released by the Lions last month, and now waiting on the official word that he is back in Cincy. Gilberry had 17 sacks during his time with the Bengals.

After being placed on Waivers back at the beginning of October by the Detroit Lions, DE Wallace Gilberry was eventually released. On Tuesday, he was one of several players that showed up; to workout for the Seattle Seahawks who have been dealing with some injuries along the defensive line.

Gilberry was already on IR for the season but will now be seeking to find another squad when he's fully healthy. The release of the veteran DE shouldn't come as shock even if he were healthy due to his complete lack of QB pressure over the last 36 games played with just 3.5 sacks over that time. Detroit will have to come up with an injury settlement for him to finalize to the move.
