Nick Bosa is expected to play Week 1, leaving Jordan off the initial 53-man roster. The former No. 3 overall pick is a rotational option who is likely ring chasing at this point of his career.

The No. 3 overall pick of the 2013 draft by the Dolphins, Jordan has carved out a role as a rotational edge rusher and will look to make the Niners' 53-man roster behind Dee Ford and Nick Bosa. Jordan notched two sacks across seven games for the Raiders last season after serving a 10-week suspension. A total bust for Miami, Jordan has 10.5 career sacks in 50 games. He turned 30 this offseason.

Jordan is returning from his 10-game PED suspension. He tallied 22 tackles (17 solo) with 1.5 sacks in Seattle last season and will provide depth on the Raiders defensive line.

Jordan was hit with a 10-game suspension for violating the league's PED policy, so he could be available against the Bengals in Week 11, with the Raiders having already played their Week 10 game Thursday. The roster spot for Jordan was created when safety Karl Joseph was placed on IR.
