Frank Alexander has been suspended for a year for violating the NFL substance abuse policy.
Alexander has been a complete non-factor in Carolina as he has only seen the field once since 2012 and now is a third time offender of the substance abuse policy. He was already on I.R. for a torn achilles but will now miss most of the 2016 campaign as well. Alexander could very well be out of the league very soon.
Frank Alexander had successful Achilles surgery on Wednesday.
He is recovering just fine and still remains out for the season.
