Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Quinn's knee was scoped. He'll miss at least the next four weeks. The Eagles have plenty of pass-rush depth and this timeline does allow Quinn to get back before the playoffs, but it's a short-term blow.  

Quinn injured his knee in practice, and the pass rusher was declared out on Friday. It's a blow for the Eagles' ability to get to the passer. However, the Eagles will have DT Jordan Davis, who is returning from injured reserve. bolstering the interior of the defensive line.

The Eagles ruled out Quinn, who was injured in Friday's practice, and will be without FS C.J. Gardner-Johnson (core) on defense this week. The early rule out means Quinn may be looking at an extended absence. Placing Quinn on IR would open a spot for DT Jordan Davis (ankle) on the active roster.

The Eagles are 6-0 and have their sights set on a Super Bowl. With Derek Barnett (knee) lost for the season in Week 1, Quinn gives the Eagles more juice off the edge, alongside guys like Haason Reddick, Brandon Graham, and Josh Sweat. Quinn, 32, has 102 career sacks and had been on the trade block dating back to the offseason. Going to Philly puts him in a spot to contribute in a playoff run.
