Larry Donnell
Player News
Larry Donnell (illness) did not practice Thursday.
With only 15 catches on the season, Donnell is an afterthought in fantasy. as are the rest of the Giants tight ends. Will Tye would benefit from any time that Donnell would miss, but that hardly makes him worth consideration when setting Week 14 lineups.
Larry Donnell played just one snap in Week 13.
Donnell has not had a catch since Week 7. Will Tye pulled down a pair of catches as the lead TE for the Giants, so it appears the team doesn't tend to target the TE's often as it is.
Larry Donnell is a healthy scratch for Week 11.
Donnell's status as a healthy scratch shouldn't be too surprising seeing that he hasn't been targeted in either of the Giants last two games. Will Tye and Jerell Adams will be the two active tight ends for the Giants today against a Bears defense that has allowed tight ends to average less than 7.2 fantasy points per game in 2016.
Larry Donnell (concussion) is practicing Thursday.
Donnell missed Week 5 due to a concussion, but he is preparing to get back on the field for this Sunday's game against the Ravens. His return to practice on Thursday seems to back up that plan.
