Player News
Bills signed Naaman Roosevelt back to the practice squad.
Roosevelt had been released by the Bills right before the season opened, but will get another opportunity to impress, at least during the week.
The Buffalo Bills signed free-agent WR Naaman Roosevelt and DT Landon Cohen to undisclosed deals. The team released WR Ramses Barden and LB Nathan Williams.
Naaman Roosevelt had surgery to repair a tear in his meniscus back in November of 2009. He will try to restart his career and make the team in training camp. Marcell Dareus showed up to camp out of shape and the Bills are already weak at the defensive tackle position made it apparent they needed bodies for training camp. Cohen has played with the Lions, Jags, Patriots, Bears and Cowboys since breaking into the league in 2008.
The Detroit Lions signed wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt.
Roosevelt hasn\'t played in the NFL since he was with Buffalo in 2011, but he impressed the Lions enough during a tryout in mini-camp to get a contract an an invitation to training camp. Whether or not he sticks, well that\'s a different story.
