Drew Davis
Player News
The Falcons have activated WR Drew Davis from the PUP list and have waived WR Freddie Martino.
Davis will slot in as the team\'s No. 5 receiver with Devin Hester and Harry Douglas sitting just in front of him. He won\'t see enough work on the field to warrant fantasy consideration so there\'s no need to worry about him on the waiver wire.
There's a chance Falcons wide receiver Drew Davis could play against Carolina on Sunday after he made it through his first week of practice with no issues.
Davis returned to practice last Wednesday and that started the 21-day clock for the Falcons to activate him. With a recent injury to Devin Hester, the door could open for Davis to get some work in this week and potentially carve out a larger role for himself as a fourth wideout for the team.
Drew Davis (foot) returned to practice Wednesday.
Davis seems to be fine with regard to the foot issue, but he remains the No. 4 receiver on the Falcons depth chart. He doesn\'t see enough snaps or targets to make him fantasy worthy.
Drew Davis (foot) is expected to participate in practice Wednesday.
His playing status for the weekend is still undetermined but he doesn\'t have really any fantasy appeal at the time being.
