Junior Hemingway removed from Chiefs' injured reserve list.
Hemingway has never shown he can be a useful NFL receiver and likely never will. He'll never be a useful fantasy player.
Chiefs release WR Junior Hemingway.
Injuries caused the receiver to fall out of favor with Head Coach Andy Reid over the second half of last season and then he injured his hip early in training camp and hasn't practiced since. The best skill in sports is your availability, it was becoming clear that Hemingway didn't have any.
Junior Hemingway signed his exclusive rights free-agent tender.
Hemingway didn't have much fantasy value in 2015, mainly because his volume of snaps was pretty low. He was targeted just 21 times last season, catching 12 of those for just 108 yards. His role will be similar in 2015, so owners shouldn't be considering drafting the former Michigan wide receiver.

Hemingway has battled a concussion recently, but he seems to be back to full strength. He is in no danger of missing Sunday\'s game against the Raiders.
