Mario Manningham

Manningham just wasn\'t cutting it and the concerns over his chronic knee issues certainly played a part here. A team more desperate for potential receiver help could get into the mix here.

From all reports coming out of Giants camp, Manningham was not in the plans to make the 53-man roster before this game and now the injury might of just assured himself of being out of job this weekend.

Manningham is back with the old coach after two injury plagued seasons with the 49ers. Manningham joins a wide receiving core consisting of starters Victor Cruz and Ruben Randle along with the Giants 2014 1st round pick Odell Beckham Jr and former 3rd round pick Jerrel Jernigan making Manningham\'s role in the offense currently unknown.

Knee issues have obviously been a major problem for Manningham over the last few seasons and while he\'s not technically hurt, he certainly doesn\'t run and cut on his knee like a guy who is confident in his legs. With a slew of other receivers in camp, Manningham finds himself on the bubble right now. his experience could give him an edge, but with so few snaps in the last two years, the experience edge might not be that sharp.
