Trindon Holliday
Player News
Raiders release WR/KR Trindon Holliday.
Holliday was once an electric kick returner, but he's now been cut from the Raiders. That doesn't bode well for his future. His chances are running out.
Raiders announce that KR/PR Trindon Holliday has been activated off the Physically Unable to Perform List.
Holliday is apparently healthy and ready to get back into action. The Raiders are hoping that he will finally live up to his billing as a potentially explosive return man, though he hasn't shown much during his NFL tenure outside of a few moments in his rookie season with the Texans. If he can turn things around, then obviously the Raiders DEF/ST should get a little boost in expected value. Not much, but a little.
Trindon Holliday was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Holliday came into the league with a ton of hype and was expected to be the next Devin Hester. That hasn't even come close to panning out as he is on his third team in three years and looks like he's headed for failure once again.
Raiders have signed free agent WR/RS Trindon Holliday.
Given the receiver depth the team already has, it is clear that Holliday will be solely used as a return specialist. Obviously though, he still has to make the team, so don't write him in for the Raiders special teams just yet.
