Titans WR Damaris Johnson was released.
Johnson was signed off of waivers by Tennessee back on December 17th, but failed to make an appearance for the Titans and was cut today. The wide receiver only played in one game in 2015, which was for the Patriots, where he recorded only one rush for six yards and returned two punts for three yards.

The Titans were looking for some depth at the wide receiver position and snagged Johnson off of waivers. Johnson appeared in one game for New England before being cut.

Due to the Patriots claiming Leonard Hankerson, this ensuing transaction has resulted in Damaris Johnson's release. Johnson did have one catch against the Eagles in Week 13 and will now go through the waivers process.

New England has taken some serious hits to it's receiving core over the past few weeks and now need some depth infused. Johnson was a return specialist for both Philadelphia and Houston previously and he could be that plus more for the ailing Patriots. He has extremely limited fantasy value though.
