Antonio Allen

The Jets got Allen back after clearing waivers but won't have him until next year, if he's still on the team by then. Allen was barely a factor in the 12 games he played for the Jets this year and made a much bigger impact from 2012-'14.

With former CFL star Freddie Bishop III being brought up to the active roster from the practice squad, the New York Jets opt to waive Antonio Allen on Saturday. Allen is injured, and has been dealing with a concussion, as he goes through the teams protocol.

The Jets secondary isn't any good but losing Allen certainly won't make it any better. He will not return to this game and should be considered questionable for their next contest.

Allen was let go by the Texans in their final roster cuts of the preseason, but he has now rejoined the team in which he played 38 games (18 starts) for from 2012-'14. Allen spent all of 2015 on IR.
