Cowboys believe Barry Church (arm) will play Thursday against the Vikings.
The Cowboys could really use him back on the field after allowing Kirk Cousins to throw for nearly 450 yards on Thanksgiving Day. He is working his way back from a broken forearm.
Barry Church says he hopes to play against Minnesota.
Church has been recovering from a broken forearm for the last month so having him back in the secondary is huge for the Cowboys. With the Cowboys facing the struggling Vikings offense, this news surely doesn't make it any easier for Bradford and the rest of their offense.
Jerry Jones said he expects Barry Church to return this year, but his timeline hasn't changed.
Church fractured his right forearm on October 30, and at that time was expected to miss four to five weeks. The Cowboys have been pretty solid even with Church out, but they could certainly use him back.
Barry Church is still a few weeks away from playing.
Church (forearm) will be out for the foreseeable future. JJ Wilcox will start in place of Church until he is able to return.
